Whether you shop with us online at www.kaushya.com or visit our physical store, your experience is governed by the following Terms and Conditions. By accessing or using our services, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. We also use Razorpay as our authorized payment service provider for both online and in-store transactions.

CHANGES TO TERMS OF SERVICE

Kaushya™ reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the Site. We encourage you to review this page each time you use our services to stay informed.

ONLINE STORE TERMS

PRODUCT AVAILABILITY, DESCRIPTION & LIMITATIONS

  • Some of our products are available exclusively through our website and may be offered in limited quantities. Returns or exchanges are accepted only in accordance with our Refund Policy.
  • We make every effort to present product colors, textures, and designs as accurately as possible. However, the colors displayed on your screen may vary slightly due to monitor settings or lighting differences during photography.
  • As many of our sarees are handwoven or hand-finished, slight variations in weave, texture, or zari detailing are natural and part of the charm of handcrafted products. These are not considered defects.
  • We reserve the right to limit the sale of our products or services to any individual, region, or jurisdiction on a case-by-case basis.
  • Product quantities, descriptions, and prices are subject to change at any time, at our sole discretion. We may also discontinue any product without prior notice.
  • While we maintain high standards of quality, we do not guarantee that any product, service, or content will meet every individual’s expectations or that all errors will be immediately corrected.

PRODUCT CARE

  • We recommend dry cleaning for all silk and delicate fabrics.
  • Improper washing, ironing, or storage may affect the fabric or zari.
  • Kaushya™ is not responsible for damage caused due to incorrect care after delivery.

REFUND & EXCHANGE

  • We accept exchanges only in case of damaged or defective products, reported within 48 hours of delivery.
  • A complete unpacking video (from opening the parcel to showing the product) is mandatory for claiming exchanges on damaged or defective items.
  • Refunds or returns are not applicable for reasons such as personal preference or slight variations in color, texture, or zari detailing.

BILLING, PAYMENT, AND ACCOUNT INFORMATION
We may limit or cancel orders at our discretion, especially if multiple orders are placed using the same account, payment method, or shipping address. If we make any changes to your order, we’ll try to notify you by email or phone.
We may also restrict orders that appear to be placed by resellers or distributors.
Please ensure that all billing, shipping, and contact details you provide are accurate and up to date. This helps us complete your orders smoothly and reach you if needed.

  • Payments — Online & Offline
    We use Razorpay as our authorized payment service provider for both online transactions through our website and offline transactions at our physical store.
    • For online orders, your payments are securely processed via Razorpay’s payment gateway.
    • For offline purchases, we use Razorpay POS terminals for secure card and digital payments.

By making a purchase, whether online or in-store, you authorize Razorpay to process your payment on our behalf.

  • KYC and Verification:
    • As part of regulatory requirements, Razorpay and Kaushya™ may request additional information or documents to verify your identity for high-value transactions.
    • You agree to provide such information when requested. Failure to comply may result in transaction delays, suspension, or cancellation of your order.
  • Limitation of Liability (Payments):
    • Kaushya™ and Razorpay shall not be liable for any direct or indirect loss, delays, or issues arising from payment processing failures beyond our control.
    • All transactions are subject to Razorpay’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
  • Refunds for Payments:
    • Eligible refunds for both online and in-store payments will be processed back to the original payment method in accordance with our Refund Policy and Razorpay’s standard refund timelines.

DIGITAL ORDER CONFIRMATION

  • After placing an order, you will receive an email or WhatsApp confirmation with your order summary.
  • If you do not receive a confirmation within 24 hours, please contact us.

SHIPPING & DELIVERY

  • Orders are usually processed within 2-4 working days.
  • Delivery timelines depend on your location and courier service.
  • Delays caused by third-party logistics providers are beyond our control.
  • You’ll receive tracking information once your order is dispatched.

THIRD-PARTY TOOLS

  • We may use tools or services from other companies (third parties) on our website.
  • Examples include: payment gateways like Razorpay, shipping and tracking services, WhatsApp chat, or Instagram feeds.
